Demos and ACLU Statement on New Oral Argument Schedule in Ohio Voter Purge Case

Today, Demos and the ACLU issued the following statement in response to the new oral argument schedule in the case of Husted v. A. Philip Randolph Institute:

“Due to medical issues with our lead counsel, we petitioned the Supreme Court to delay the oral arguments in Husted v APRI. We are pleased that the Supreme Court has granted our request to hold the hearing at a future oral argument session. We remain confident that our position in the case will be vindicated and that the Supreme Court will uphold the Sixth Circuit’s decision in our favor,” said Stuart Naifeh, Senior Counsel at Demos.
