The Importance of Senator Warren's Equal Employment for All Act

Demos Vice President of Policy and Outreach Heather McGhee voices support for Senator Warren's Equal Employment for All Act on MSNBC's Melissa Harris-Perry.  

McGhee outlines Demos' research on the issue, which has continually found that employment credit checks are poor measures of character. Rather, weak and poor credit histories are more often indicative of periods of unforeseen economic hardship, such as experiencing a medical misfortune or being laid off.
