Colleges get more students to attend from this — than cutting tuition

Low-income and minority students often bear the brunt of these challenges because they’re more likely than white and wealthy students to attend under-resourced schools, Huelsman said. And for these marginalized students, it’s likely that price does play some role in their decision of where to attend college and their ability to complete their degree, he said.
