Laura joined Demos in November 2013. As Public Relations and Development Specialist she helps plan and execute events that engage a diverse audience in Demos’ work.
Prior to joining Demos, Laura was a grassroots organizer with the Australian Youth Climate Coalition. She was a campus organizer for Australia’s first Power Shift summit in 2009 and helped support local youth climate action groups across her state to execute national climate action campaigns at the local level.
Laura completed her Bachelor of Arts (Honors) degree at the University of Melbourne. Her thesis compared the communication strategies of the Labor Party and the Australian Greens during the 2010 general election campaign.
