Urging President Biden and Congress to Support a Cease-fire in Gaza
As we bear witness to the escalating violence and destruction in occupied Palestine and Israel, we mourn the deaths and displacement of Palestinian and Israeli civilians from their homes.
Today, we join a host of organizations calling for an immediate cease-fire and humanitarian aid to Palestinian families displaced in Gaza and across the Middle East. We urge President Biden and Congress to take immediate steps to de-escalate the conflict and support negotiations for peace.
Our hearts and prayers are with the Palestinian and Israeli civilians who have been killed and whose lives have been irrevocably upended by the attacks on their homeland. The work of liberation and dismantling systems of oppression cannot be done alone. We stand in solidarity with our Jewish and Muslim colleagues, friends, and partners as they navigate the violence impacting their communities abroad and in the US.
