Caroline Fredrickson is the author of Under the Bus: How Working Women Are Being Run Over (The New Press, May 2015), senior fellow at Demos, and president of the American Constitution Society (ACS). She has been widely published on a range of legal and constitutional issues and is a frequent commentator on television and radio shows.
Before joining ACS, Fredrickson served as the director of the ACLU’s Washington legislative office, as Chief of Staff to U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell, Deputy Chief of Staff to U.S. Senate Democratic Leader Tom Daschle, as Special Assistant to President Bill Clinton, and as general counsel of NARAL Pro-Choice America. She lives in Silver Spring, Maryland.
