MSNBC Features New Demos / US PIRG Study On Super PACs

The millions of dollars raised and spent by SuperPACs in the 2012 election have created a kind of parallel campaign. Demos and U.S. PIRG have released a new report, "Auctioning Democracy: The Rise of Super PACS and the 2012 Election," analyzing 2010-2011 Federal Election Commission data on on these court-related entities.

"Auctioning Democracy" also contains a gallery of infographics illustrating where these outlandish contributions to SuperPACs come from and how many of them are from untraceable, unaccountable donors.
