Demos Distinguished Senior Fellow Bob Herbert appeared on All-In with Chris Hayes to discuss President Obama's inequality speech.

Herbert specifically challenged the prevailing education reform movement for cutting services, closing public schools, and laying off teachers. These actions, along with the growth of largely low-wage jobs, prevent true social mobility and any more substantive challenge to inequality and poverty in America.
