I write on behalf of Demos to urge you to oppose and vote against the anticipated amendment #2644 to be offered by Senators Vitter (LA) and Bennett (UT) to H.R. 2847, the Commerce, Justice, Science and Related Agencies appropriations bill for FY 2010, that would add a question on citizenship to the 2010 census.
