Kalin joined Dēmos in 2008. She is responsible for operations, human capital management, facility management, IT management, compliance, and organizational budgeting. She is Co-Chair of the Board of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network, New York Chapter. Kalin was 2015-2016 Community Innovation Fellow with Re:Gender, a two-year fellowship designed to build skills to influence one’s field with the application of a gender lens. She was the recipient of the 2014 Public Citizen Phyllis McCarthy Public Interest Service Award.
Previously Kalin worked with Re:Gender. She did graduate work in International Studies at Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey, and worked with The Global Justice Center and Funding Exchange as part of her studies. She holds B.A. degrees in International Studies and French from St. Norbert College in Wisconsin. As an undergraduate, she studied in Madagascar, Mexico, and France, and at the United Nations.
