Stop
the Inequality Express
Tell your your senators
to preserve the estate tax. Tell Congress to roll back the billions
in tax cuts for the wealthy that are set to go into effect in 2006
while people are living in tents and trailers in New Orleans. (Find
the names of your local representatives at Project
Vote Smart.)
Host
a workshop for your church group
The increas presence of the poor among us is a call to action. United
for a Fair Economy's workshop uses Christian principles to talk
about why the need to address the growing divide.
Talk
to your union, Rotary Club, Women's League, or other voluntary association
Help organize an educational workshop for the group of
your choice. United for a Fair Economy has developed a series of
active-involvement workshops that raise people’s consciousness
about what the economy is doing to them, and what they can do to
change the economy.
Network with
parents
If you’re a parent, tell others that tax cuts hurt kids. Download
