Equalizing the returns to income reduces the wealth gap between white and Black families by $44,963 to a total of $59,070. This is a 43 percent reduction in the Black-white wealth gap. Meanwhile, the wealth gap between white and Latino families is reduced by $51,552 to a total of $51,246—a reduction of 50 percent.
