About Demos: A Network for Ideas & Action
Demos is a national, non-partisan (and not-for-profit) public policy, research and advocacy organization. Based in New York City, with staff in Boston, Austin and Washington D.C., and active fellows and board members across the country, Demos publishes research reports and books, hosts public forums, and works with advocates and policymakers around the country in pursuit of three overarching goals: a more equitable economy; a vibrant and inclusive democracy; and a public sector capable of addressing shared challenges and working for the common good.
About the Economic Opportunity Program at Demos
The Economic Opportunity Program addresses the economic insecurity and inequality that characterize American society today. We offer fresh analysis and bold policy ideas to provide new opportunities for low-income individuals, young adults and financially-strapped families to achieve economic security.
Miles S. Rapoport is the President of Demos
Tamara Draut is the Director of the Economic Opportunity Program at Demos
